well here goes....OK DARLINGS TIME TO COME HOME....we have been patiently missing you,and funny enuf it has passed by quite quickly...I think the first week was the worst and the slowest ,anyway, start packingplease!xxxxWe are all fine,me and Mads went to Inverness to see my aunty last weekend,we had a lovely time with her.We travelled with the PT 2 LIFE crew..let me tell you ,they looked a lot better on the way over ,than on the way back!sleep depravation was evident!!!!But,despite how they looked, everyone I spoke to had a great time ,tired but happy! We pray that the Lord would bless all they heard ,and the witness of His own, to each one of them.
Oh,and Im enjoying my mornings in the Top Drawer! The best part is whenI have a visit from the darlings from our own congregation...of course it is only the ladies who visit the premises...but if any of the gentlemen would be needing any assistance with their festive shopping,I would be only to happy to oblige!
Well,Id better go and start my huge pile of ironing,Donna, you have the post-holiday ironing to look forward to!
Thank you for taking the time to keep in touch over the month,Im sorry this is my only attempt..but Im not geat at technology,am a bit shy,and I havent done anything exciting to tell you..but this is sent with LOADS OF LOVES....and as I started of with....COME HOME NOW,WE ALL MISS YOU 3, from Christine,Andy and Maddy xxx Psalm 121 vs 5

PS. Andy here - Christine wrote this blog about 2 hours ago but wasn't able to submit it - so hopefully it will work now!

Great to hear everything's going well with your trip - the photos are amazing. Glad the conference is good - it's good to be united. The weekend with Point2Life was fantastic. All the young people are excellent company and we had a lot of fun, but not a lot of sleep - but that was hardly a surprise. We'll give you some photos to upload onto the website, if there's space.

We gave Catriona 'Boje' (How on earth do you spell that?!) a print of your blog - she seemed very excited, and noted that absence was making the heart grow even fonder!!

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Great to see some blogging of the ICRC meeting. Do you know if anyone else is reporting news? You seem to be the only one doing so!

It would be lovely to know which churches were admitted into membership.

Hello to you all,

Lovely to keep catching up on your travels, and to see you in all these photos - but it'll be even better having you back with us in the flesh!

Just to let you know all went very well on the Point2Life trip. The group of about 23 including leaders made it back home safely on Monday afternoon, after a weekend of fun and laughter - and very little sleep. Can we thank you for your pump for the airbeds - Ally you will understand that it was needed, especially after some of our lovely girls spent the first night surfing on them across the dorms and trying to create their very own Point2Life tower, Fiona will explain.

We hope the weekend not only opened them to skills in cleaning dishes and dorms, but opened their hearts to the love Christ has for each one of them. The worship song we sang all weekend was 'How Deep the Fathers Love' and the main text for the weekend came from John 10.

I spent the Friday of the weekend with Seorus and Sheila - who kindly let me tag along with them for the day and at night to Calums induction. It was a lovely evening with many of his family there along with Marybell and Plum, Nan& Grandkids, Joey and Chuck, Speedys sisters and our honoury Rudhach for the night Ali Moley - along with many more. The induction was lovely and Calum seemed so relaxed in his new charge in Rosskeen - they seem a lovely congregation who no doubt will look after our Calum. Point2Life went to Rosskeen for the morning service to see Calum and wish him well, where Rev Iain Macaskill preached on John 10v10 'I am the Gate'.

Lovely weekend - Missed you Ally, but we know you will be having a great break - we'll be glad when you are back with us.

With love xx

Hello from lower bayble, Glad to see your return is fast approaching. We can only conclude from the photographs and comments on the blog that you have had a wonderfull holiday.Dare I quote Augustine" The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page"we feel that we have read more pages of this book since you started your travels. As a result of TV exposure celebrity status is considered by some as something achieved,a sermon on humility might be needed on your return for the three main actors. Two very good sermons again yesterday Joe Macphee preached on Heb 7 v22 Jesus becoming a guarantee of a better covenant and Murdo Cambell on Daniel 5 v25 The writing on the wall, both services very well attended. We expect to go away on saturday, our paths might cross in Edinburgh The car park at the manse looks pretty good plenty room for Allistair"s car when he gets one!!!
Hi,
Intention was to report on Knock prayer meeting but beaten to it by the 'A' team. You all must be truly inspired by the wonders of god's creation, we wait with anticipation on your return as to what the minister has in store for us after your experince's (no pressure) We are all delighted that you are all having such a great time and that you are able to relax. The "paramedics" Iain & Kirst back on friday,we are fortunate to have such talented people in our congregation. Superb laundry service available at the Cnoc - Dubh blood stains a speciality.
                                                                            God bless Seoras
